The Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) program at SPC aims to equip students with the technical and managerial skills necessary to pursue careers in the field of Information Technology. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers a range of topics including programming languages, database management, system analysis, and design, software engineering, web development, and e-commerce.
The BIM program at SPC comprises eight semesters over the course of four years. The curriculum includes core courses in the areas of programming, database, systems analysis, and design, software engineering, web development, e-commerce, and other related topics. Additionally, the program offers elective courses in various areas of IT.
The BIM Program Specificaly Aims for:
Integrate IT and Management – Equip students with both computer and management knowledge to solve business problems using IT.
Develop Technical Skills – Provide a strong base in programming, database, networking, software engineering, and system analysis.
Enhance Business Understanding – Teach core management subjects like accounting, finance, marketing, and organizational behavior.
Promote Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Skills – Train students to analyze business environments and make informed decisions using IT tools.
Prepare for Professional Careers – Make students job-ready for roles such as system analysts, IT managers, database administrators, and software developers.
Support Entrepreneurship and Innovation – Encourage innovative thinking and entrepreneurial capabilities using IT knowledge
